Classic Distancia Tours

    Although these tours usually run between March and October, we can also organise tours at a significantly reduced cost during the remainder of the year.

   We also arrange bespoke touring holidays "taylor made" to our customers requirements with the possibility of making a tour as long or as short as you wish and the option of staying in a 5 star hotel or Parador.

      Commencing our tour from the guesthouse in Velez De Benaudalla around 9:00am on day 2 of the itinerary, we head west to Malaga/Cadiz provinces or east to Almeria/Jaen provinces depending on the tour we have arranged for you. The accommodation on these tours will be in three and four star hotels or equivalent rural houses (casa rurales) usually in a national park or scenic area (some with private swimming pools). These tours are normally a five or six day round trip of between 750-1000kms with a rest day in between if requested, returning again to our base in Velez around 6:00pm on the fifth/sixth day depending on the tour.

      Please contact us for more information regarding our Classic Distancia Tours or check out our facebook page for regular updates.

We will be trying out a new tour route this October exploring The Cazorla National Park and are offering four riders  the chance to join this tour at a significantly reduced price. Click on the "Recce Tour" button below for more information.

  •   All our itineraries are flexible, with the option of combining our different types of tours and adding on extra days if required. We offer discounts for groups of two or more riders (max. five riders on each tour including the guide).  All our tours can be arranged with or without accommodation. If you would like an exact price for your day tour, short break or touring holiday, please contact us with your requirements.
  • On arrival at our Guesthouse you are required to pay an Accidental Damage Deposit of 500€  (or equivalent if you prefer to pay in your local currency) in cash to cover damages to any of the motos. This will be returned in full at the end of your tour, provided no damage has been caused. Most of us have dropped our bikes at some stage of our riding career, I have found Enfields to be very forgiving in this respect. Minor damage can sometimes be fixed easily in-house but sometimes it can not. If any of the motos are dropped or crashed causing damage which cannot be repaired in this manner, you are liable for the cost of the repair. This will be deducted from your Accidental Damage Deposit. Thankfully this is a rarity!
  •     While out on a tour there will be a few stops during the day for refreshments e.g. tea, coffee or non alcoholic cold beverages. Please respect the drink driving laws here in Spain while out on a tour and limit your intake of alcohol (for obvious reasons) to a glass of beer or wine with your lunch. After your tour for the day is over, your evenings are free to do as you like.
  • All rentals include third party liability insurance. For insurance purposes all riders must be over 25 years of age and be in possession of a valid motorcycle licence for at least two years.
  • As motorcycle touring is considered an adventure sport we advise you before arrival in Spain, to arrange travel/personal accident insurance that covers adventure sports. This must include medical cover and repatriation in your home country. The following link is an example of travel/personal accident insurance available in the UK.  Travellers from other countries should enquire locally to find out what is necessary to participate in an adventure sport in Spain.

 The following is not included in the price of your holiday;

 Your flights, travel/medical insurance, fines, and personal requirements including food and drinks.

        (Our guesthouse is self catering with full cooking facilities, there are shops and supermarkets in the village along with tapas bars and restaurants).
