Coronavirus (Covid-19)

We are no longer updating this page as we feel the information we have been receiving regarding Covid-19 is so contradictory, it can no longer be believed or posted here.

I have always been a level headed person and tried to look at things from a logical point of view, but no matter how much I try to make logic from the current global situation surrounding Covid, I just can't.

The following is my opinion and based on fact, not conspiracy theory, the rest of the team have their own opinion;

I have no doubt that the new Coronavirus (Covid-19) is real and highly contagious, whether it is natural or not, this I don't know. Coronaviruses have existed in mammals for thousands of years but most virologists around the world agree they have never behaved like this new strain of Corona does.

The facts are COVID-19 sickens many, proves fatal to others, mostly the elderly and health compromised but does nothing to the vast majority of the population. Does this really justify the level of restrictions we see being imposed globally, somehow I don't think so?

Most peoples lives and freedom are being severely restricted in the hope of slowing down the spread of the virus, unfortunately this will continue to happen until the vaccine that may or may not work can be administered to the vast majority of the worlds population. Most of us are responsible adults and are more than capable of taking our own necessary precautions.

Restricting most people's freedom for three or four months and then letting them out to socialise again is only prolonging the inevitable, the virus hasn't gone away and is still there, anyone who missed it while they were locked up stands a good chance of catching it second or third time round.

I believe strongly in letting nature take it's course, this may sound selfish but shutting down businesses and forcing people to stay at home, long term will have a far greater impact on peoples health and well being than that of Covid-19.

The response to the Coronavirus has been hyped, and in time, this hype will be revealed as the political hoax that it is.

COVID-19 will probably go down as one of the political world’s biggest, most shamefully overblown, over hyped, irrationally inflated and outright deceptively flawed responses to a health matter in history. One that was carried largely on the lips of medical professionals and philanthropists who have no business running a national economy, government or media outlet. The reality is most of them have absolutely no interest in the health and well being of any of us, our families or those in the developing countries.

Latest Update - 22/06/20

We have now entered "phase 4" of Spains lockdown easing plan and the official end of the "State of Alarm"

This means that at the end of June, if the Coronavirus epidemiological curve follows the same trend as until now, we will complete the reopening process and will finally be in the so-called “new normal life” or “nueva normalidad”.

The end of the “State of Alarm” also means that the central Spanish Government will give all the authority back to the regions. Also, it is the end of travel restrictions between autonomous regions and countries in the Schengen area.
