Our 5 & 7- Day Classic Local Tours highlight some of the best scenic routes in Granada Province and run on selected dates throughout the year, (fill out our enquiry form or contact us for cost & availability).
These tours are recommended for guests joining us for the first time.
Each morning we set off on tour from our base around 9.30am, completing a round trip of approx. 200 km within Granada province with stop offs along the way for food and refreshments, returning again to our base each evening around 6:00pm.
Granada province covers an area of over 12,500 km2, with a very diverse range of scenery, we guarantee you won't be disappointed!
Arrive at Málaga Airport (AGP) where you will be met by one of our team and transported to the accommodation in Salobreña. After administration you will be given a short safety briefing and introduced to your Royal Enfield, following this, you have the remainder of the day to do as you please. There is a good choice of restaurants and tapas bars in town, some offering their menus in English. Feel free to wind your way through the narrow streets in the old Mozarabic Quarter taking in the stunning views of the Sierra Nevada and surrounding countryside from the 15th century Arab Castle.
After having breakfast, our Classic Local Tour Begins. Heading north west, through the small mountain village of Otivar, we arrive in "El Parque Natural Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama." Riding along El Camino De Cabra we start heading west past El Lago Azul to Alahama De Granada where we shall stop to have lunch. We will then head off around the north side of El Lago Azul before making our way towards Las Sierras De Albuñuelas, finally arriving back at our HQ around 5:30pm.
Following breakfast, today will see us travel north through Garganta de los Vados Gorge then east to Torviscon and "La Sierra De Contraviesa." Turning south from Ugijar we head for Murtas where we shall be visiting a bodega and stopping for lunch. On our return journey we continue south through La Sierra De Alheyon and Los Gualchos, then heading west along the coast road towards Almuñecar and our final leg of the journey back to base.
A fabulous day on the road is promised with stunning views out over the sea as we journey west along the coast towards La Heradura. Turning inland we start our ascent to La Sierra De Almijara, hopefully, if the conditions are right, we will enjoy excellent views of Morocco across the Alboran Sea. Winding our way through the picturesque villages we arrive at Canillas De Albaida where we shall stop for lunch. Starting our descent heading south, we pass through Sayalonga then Algarobo before turning east and following the coast again back to our base.
Today will see us head west to Sierra Los Guajares then north towards Granada before entering "La Parque Natural De La Sierra Nevada" where we will stop to have lunch. Heading off again we make our way through Guejar-Sierra before making our final descent to Suspiro Del Moro and Acebuches to our HQ, arriving back around 5:30pm.
This morning we'll set off in the direction of Granada before heading east through Lanjaron and into "Las Alpujarras." Today's tour passes through Spain's highest mountain villages, Lanjaron, Pampaneira, and Trevelez (the highest village in Spain) where we will be stopping for an authentic “Alpujarreño” lunch. Heading off again we pass through Valor before turning south west through Cadiar for our return journey back.
You are leaving today, so will be transported to the airport for the flight home, hopefully you will have had an unforgettable experience with us. Goodbye for now and thank you for touring with Enfield Classic Moto Tours.
*Sometimes we may need to arrange alternative accommodation due to unforeseen circumstances. If this situation arises, the accommodation offered will be equal to or higher than the accommodation initially offered.
