Arrive at either Malaga (AGP) or Granada (GRX) airport, where you will be met by one of our staff and transported to the guesthouse in Velez De Benaudalla. After filling out the required paper work you will be given a short safety briefing and introduced to your Royal Enfield. Following this, you have the remainder of the day to do as you please. There is a good choice of restaurants and tapas bars in the village, some offering their menus in English. Feel free to wander through the narrow streets in the old Mozarabic parts of the village taking in the stunning views of the Sierra Nevada and surrounding countryside from the 15th century Arab Castle.

  • Day 2  El Camino De Cabera

After having breakfast, our Classic Local Tour Begins. Heading south east, through Garganta de los Vados Gorge and the small mountain village of Otivar, we arrive in "El Parque Natural Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama." Riding along El Camino De Cabera we start heading west to El Lago Azul and Alahama De Granada where we shall stop to have lunch. We will then head off around the north side of El Lago Azul before making our way towards Las Sierras De Albuñuelas, finally arriving back at our HQ around 5:30pm.

  • Day 3  La Contraviesa

Following breakfast, today will see us travel east through Torviscon and "La Sierra De Contraviesa." Turning south from Ugijar we head for Murtas where we shall be visiting a bodega and stopping for lunch. On our return journey we continue south through La Sierra De Alheyon and Los Gualchos, then heading west along the coast road towards Almuñecar and our final leg of the journey back to base.

  • Day 4  La Costa Tropical or Rest Day*

A fabulous day on the road is promised with stunning views out over the sea as we journey south to Salobreña, then west along the coast towards La Heradura. Turning inland we start our ascent to La Sierra De Almijara, hopefully, if the conditions are right, we will enjoy excellent views of Morocco on the other side of the Mediteranean. Winding our way through the picturesque villages we arrive at Canillas De Albaida where we shall stop for lunch. Starting our descent heading south, we pass through Sayalonga then Algarobo before turning east and following the coast again back to our base.

Today will see us head west to Sierra Los Guajares then north towards Granada before entering "La Parque Natural De La Sierra Nevada" where we will stop to have lunch. • Day 6  Las Alpujarras

This morning we'll set off in the direction of Granada before heading east through Lanjaron and into "Las Alpujarras."  Today's tour passes through Spain's highest mountain villages, Pampaneira, Capileira, Bubion and Trevelez (the highest village in Spain) where we will be stopping for an authentic “Alpujarreño” lunch. Heading off again we pass through Valor before turning south west through Cadiar for our return journey to our base in Velez.

     * If you decide to opt for a rest day, there is plenty to do in and around Velez and Granada. Options include visiting the "Alhambra Palace UNESCO World Heritage site', walking tours of Granada City (guided & self-guided), exploring  Nerja Caves, along with great diving & snorkeling (conditions permitting). There are also thousands of kilometeres of mountain, river and coastal walks (both guided & self-guided).  Maybe you would just like to hang out in the numerous bars and restaurants or chill-out on one of the many beaches instead.

All of the above are within 1 hr / 60 Kms from our base. If you would like to participate in any of these activities, we can arrange this for you.

The above itinerary is for guidelines only and can change for various reasons, i.e. seasonal conditions, road works, riding ability, etc.........

  •   All our itineraries are flexible, with the option of combining our different types of tours and adding on extra days if required. We offer discounts for groups of three or more riders (max.five riders on each tour).  All our tours can be arranged with or without accommodation. If you would like an exact price for your day tour, short break or touring holiday, please contact us with your requirements.
  • On arrival at our Guesthouse you are required to pay an Accidental Damage Deposit of 500€  (or equivalent if you prefer to pay in your local currency) in cash to cover damages to any of the motos. This will be returned in full at the end of your tour, provided no damage has been caused. Most of us have dropped our bikes at some stage of our riding career, I have found Enfields to be very forgiving in this respect. Minor damage can sometimes be fixed easily in-house but sometimes it can not. If any of the motos are dropped or crashed causing damage which cannot be repaired in this manner, you are liable for the cost of the repair. This will be deducted from your Accidental Damage Deposit. Thankfully this is a rarity!
  •  While out on a tour there will be a few stops during the day for refreshments e.g. tea, coffee or non alcoholic cold beverages. Please respect the drink driving laws here in Spain while out on a tour and limit your intake of alcohol (for obvious reasons) to a glass of beer or wine with your lunch. After your tour for the day is over, your evenings are free to do as you like.
  •  All rentals include third party liability insurance. For insurance purposes all riders must be over 25 years of age and be in possession of a valid motorcycle licence for at least two years.
  • As some of our routes are quite challenging we also require all riders to have had some experience riding on twisty mountain roads.
  •  As motorcycle touring is considered an adventure sport we advise you before arrival in Spain, to arrange travel/personal accident insurance that covers adventure sports. This must include medical cover and repatriation in your home country. The following link is an example of travel/personal accident insurance available in the UK.  Travellers from other countries should enquire locally to find out what is necessary to participate in an adventure sport in Spain.

   The following is not included in the price of your holiday;

Your flights, travel/medical insurance, fines, and personal requirements including food and drinks.

(Our guesthouse is self catering with full cooking facilities, there are shops and supermarkets in the village along with tapas bars and restaurants).
